Paul Newton joins East Oaks Studio for an exciting workshop where he will share insights into his portrait painting process. In this two day workshop, Paul will discuss, from start to finish, how he approaches painting alla prima portraits. From there, he will expand into his approach to creating harmonious compositions. Drawing from universal principles of design and harmony, these concepts will be applicable no matter the subject or scale of your painting.

This workshop will take place at East Oaks Studio in Cary, NC. The exact address and directions will be provided after registration.
There is a wide array of accommodation options in the area. A list of options and resources will be provided after registration.
A materials list and reference photo will also be provided.
Cancellation Policy: A partial refund of $150 is available until April 28th. If you need to cancel after this point, you are responsible for the full cost of the workshop, unless the space is able to be filled, in which case we offer a refund of $150. We will happily work with you on filling the space, if the situation arises.
